They were as excited as I was, and we invited Ross to join on bass, making this group a tight and familiar circle: the four of us have played together in various combinations for various groups over the years, but not yet in this specific formation on this material.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Schmidt was also intrigued to hear about this, and offered to multitrack the first two shows &#8212; and here it is.<\/p>\n<p>Chemistry and interplay abound from everyone on these performances, honed and tempered and made wiser by time.
